Our longtime partnership with the Baltimore Orioles continues in 2026. Readers  who read at least three books and turn in a completed scorecard to any Sarasota County library will receive two Orioles ticket vouchers and a prize.

Earn your tickets

1. Pickup a scorecard from the library.
2. Read three books. Start reading now!
3. After reading and recording three books, return the scorecard to the library to receive an Orioles prize and to receive a voucher code to redeem online to print your tickets.
4. Redeem voucher online to print tickets.
5. Bring the printed tickets to the Ed Smith Stadium box office to enjoy the Spring Training game!

New this year, Palmer’s Home Run Reader brings an Atlanta Braves Spring Training experience to Sarasota County families. Participants who read at least three books and turn in a completed scorecard at any Sarasota County library will receive two Atlanta Braves ticket vouchers.

A summer reading challenge favorite, Reading with the Rays will again be featured in Sarasota County Libraries this summer. The Tampa Bay Rays will return to Tropicana Field for the 2026 season and will again offer game tickets as the home run prize. Program details, including this year’s game information, will be announced.
