We also have programs using 3Doodlers, to directly create 3D objects using pens that write with plastic filament!

Many of our Creation Station activities include creating physical items.

These include

• Crochet, knitting
• Drawing
• painting
• Jewelry design
• Makerspace / Mystery art challenges (using designated or found objects)

Design and create a variety of projects using the Cricut machines!

The Cricut Explore and Maker can cut paper, heat transfer vinyl and peel-and-stick vinyl.

The Cricut Press and Mug Press can use heat to apply designs.

Circuitry can be explored in several ways. Some programs may use paper circuits, squishy circuits, Arduino, sewing circuits or SnapCircuits (pictured below).

Participants place circuit pieces on the SnapCircuits board to create a working project.

Coding can range from HTML and Java through Python, C++ and Perl. Our coding programs are intended for the introductory exploration of code.

We have a few coding items, including Ozobots, Dash Robots and Osmo Coding with Awbie.

Young adults use the iPad app to write code which navigates the Dash robot through the maze.

A young adult uses tiles to give instructions to the on-screen character.

Creating digital content includes creating new content, editing existing files, digitizing from another format and more!

A few examples include

• Create, edit or produce audio files (includes podcasts, music).

• Digital art – Use special tablets to digitally draw or paint artwork.

• Scan or edit photos.

• Create or edit videos.

Library programs may feature the Glowforge!

• Design projects for the Glowforge to engrave or cut.
• Paint and assemble projects that were cut by the Glowforge.

Library programs may include LEGO WeDo, Dash Robots or Ozobots to explore coding skills.
